LaCrosse, WI area here. If you're ever in the area and want to paddle, let me know! My old canoe isn't seaworthy yet. But when I finish the restoration she'll be a fun one to paddle. Until then we'll need to paddle yours or rent.

Lake Villa here. I've got it made here with lakes and fishing in my Prism. I have been paddling a lot lately. If you want to do the Nippersink Creek in Mc Henry, I'm checking it out solo. Might be fun(ner) with a shuttle. It's a nice hike back, but. Nice area/trip. Rock on!

You're not too far away from me. Do you canoe a lot over by Mauston? Do you ever make it over here to the Mississippi?"
I do most of it on different parts of the Wisconsin River like the backwaters of Castle Rock and Petenwell Lakes
Of all the roads you take in life, make sure a few of them are dirt.

Not me. I'm by the garden plots/soccer fields.
My boat is kept indoors.

I have spent plenty of time on Castle Rock and Petenwell. Just never from a canoe and it has been several years since I have been there. I've heard lots of good things about the lower Wisconsin also. I hope to paddle that after my canoe is finished.

I live outside of Rockton, north of Rockford. I live very near the confluence of the Rock and Pecatonica rivers and near the confluence of the Sugar and Pecatonica.
Most of my paddling is done on our local rivers. The Rock, Pecatonica, Sugar and Kishwaukee are all unique in topography and history and all are fun to explore.

I set a goal of losing 10 lbs. this year. I only have 15 left to lose.

Madison WI here, I wish I could make it August 1st.
Thanks for organizing all this Mike. Your firetiger flies look great! I've been tying trout/steelhead flies forever but I just bought a new 8 weight rod and reel to take up north, can't wait to hook up with some smallies and pike on the fly rod.
