The Chrismar map shows the Robin to Lynx portage as "difficult portage navigation". Any details? Is the issue wet weather only, or is the portage simply seldom used? TIA

I haven’t done it for about 20 years but I recall soft mushy ground up to my thighs. This would be a great year to try because of low water.
