Last weekend a guy and his family were over by the Mississippi [Wisc side] and Daddy and the girls spent some time in the woods, Tuesday morning he was helping comb out the oldest one's hair [about 10 years old] and she said she had a "pimple" on her neck, about hair line, he got looking and it was a tick all dug in. At the ER the smeared it with Vaseline and it backed out but when they went to grab it they pulled her hair and they missed it, this happened 3 times then Daddy was a lot more carefully and got it, they put it in a jar to have the lab look at it and started her on antibiotics. Daddy had Lymes disease 2 years ago and had to finally demand to have the test to confirm he had it. Went on antibiotics and it turned out well. Check everyone closely after they have been outdoors, and if you suspect Lymes demand the test, too many DRs just aren't going to do it if you don't demand it FRED
Grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked, the good fourtune to remember the ones do, and the eyesight to tell the differance.
