I got the fly today. It's very thin. You can actually see through it. Center ridge seam is taped. All the tie outs are grommetted, not loops. On the ridgeline, the grommets are set it heavy grosgrain. The side tie outs have grommets in corners where the fabric has been reinforced.
I'm not sure I'd want to use over my hammock due to the side grommets looking like they might be a weak point in wind, but I think it would be fine for a kitchen tarp.

Thanks for the review Hooky. At $20 a person needs to have realistic expectations for sure. Looking forward to having a spare for y'at that reason. If I have another my CCS will serve my hammock well!
