Hey guys. I will be up north and thinking of a few days beginning October 22nd. It's awful late, gloves and proper gear. What else? What about checking in if I latest have my Rabc from earlier this year...?

Thanks for any thoughts

You'll need the RABC if crossing into Canada remotely, and you still need a Q permit, albeit self issued.

...and just FYI the Canadians do patrol the border and into the park through-out the year.
I have been checked in winter by COs via ski-plane...

If you are filtering water, I'd take the filter into your tent overnight. When those things freeze up, its sometimes not easy to get them unfrozen and back into operation again. I'd also take a water bottle into the tent at night, so that you have some readily available liquid that you can heat to immerse the filter in. (But I've camped in conditions that even the water bottle in the tent froze solid.)

If you expect the lakes to begin to freeze, I'd also take an ax so you can create a lead (channel) to reach open water, if necessary.
