Chrismar makes such a nice full-view map of Quetico that I wanted to get one mounted and framed. I contacted Chrismar and they sell a rolled version that is perfect. No fold lines.

The maps are $14.95 each, but the shipping is $19.95 (ouch). Shipping is so high because they can't simply ship the maps across the border in a tube. It has to go into a larger square box. The good news is they can ship multiple maps for the same price so if a group of friends wants to order maps together and split the shipping costs, it trims the per-map cost sustantially.

Mine is at the framing shop now. Looking forward to getting it on the wall.

Sounds like a great idea for the wall. Write back when it's done as I'm curious about how it turns out.

One thing every Quetico enthusiast needs is a map for planning your next trip. I gaze at my giant map nearly every day and use a dry erase marker to plan routes. My map is laminated.

A few years back I picked this laminated, rolled map up at the French Lake Station - wife surprised me for X-mas by getting it framed. Hangs in the home office so I can dream often...

Great minds think a like. I am staring at my framed Chrismar map as I type. Had to wait 18 months before they came out with a new version without the fold lines but was worth it. You must have the same version I do.

One other note, Chrismar doesn't have an unlimited supply of un-folded maps. They only hold a few back with each version/update. So when they run out you are SOL until the next update. Found this out because I had to wait for mine. Worth the wait though.Best map of the Q in my opinion.

Isn't copying the best form of flattery? :)
