I hijacked TomT's thread and brought it over here.

"I'm planning a solo in Sept. and will be going through PP up to Kahsh then through Joyce and Burt up to Conmee then west to William and down through Brent, Ted, Robinson, and to Basswood.

I'd really like to visit an olive jar or two but besides Delahey and McIntyre I don't know any other locations. Can anyone help? If you'd rather, you can email me privately here tomnmia@comcast.net

Thanks in advance. I'm also looking for some sweet sites and fishing spots too if you're really feeing generous. :) I practice catch and release (except for a few "small fish" dinners) I'm usually either solo or with one other person so wouldn't overuse anything."

I sent TomT info on some of his lakes, William, Conmee, Burt, Brent & Suzanette.

I'm planning a June trip and need info on campsites and fishing spots on Hurn, Ted, Earl, Brent. Can anyone help?

Fished Brent about 15 years ago early september, caught many large Sm Bass after dark on large topwater lures, only caught sm fish during the daylight time period. best fishing was on the western end near the out-flow into darky lake.

I figure reading the notes in the jars will be great as I will be solo. Won't feel so lonely.

Fishguts, the only advice I have on those lakes is for Brent. See my "top five fishing holes" thread for fishing. As for Brent campsites, site DW (on the peninsula in the west end, north of where you come into the lake from Cone) is very nice. --Goose
